Blantyre Water Board would like to inform its valued customers that it has released tender results for procurement of bulk water meters and related accessories. All bidders are advised to come to Blantyre Water Board Head Office for discharge of their bid securities. The results document can be found under Downloads

Water Disconnections

It is required that all Blantyre Water Board customer should settle their bills every month within thirty days stated on a bill statement. All accounts with outstanding balances of thirty days and above automatically appear on the computer generated disconnection list and are duly disconnected.

A customer whose water supply has been disconnected for non-payment shall be required to pay all arrears (or any amount with special agreement with the Board).

However, water disconnection can also be effected at the request of the tenant/landlord or when the customer’s cheque has been returned by the Bank.
